Central government sacks corrupt officials in Heilongjiang province

Chinese government has been announcing the effort of removing corrupt ranking officials in Heilongjiang province. AFP reported that “A corruption-plagued province of China has sacked five top leaders including its highest judge and top prosecutor after a corruption scandal, state press said on Monday.

The legislature of the north-eastern Heilongjiang also removed a vice-governor, a vice-chairperson of the provincial legislature and secretary of the province’s Communist Party committe, the Beijing News reported. ”

Also according to China Daily’s report: “Five ranking officials in Northeast China’s Heilongjiang Province were removed from their posts on Sunday.”
