China’s tycoons have joined the global jet set, according to Boeing, which said yesterday that it has sold its first private business plane in the world’s most populous nation…

With an economy growing at around 9% a year, Boeing said it expects more sales of the BBJ. Other brands are also positioning themselves for the expansion of the high-rolling segment of the consumer market.
