Twelve miners are trapped after a fire broke out in a coal mine in south-west China’s Guizhou province.
The fire began at about 11:20pm local time on Saturday at the Xiangshui Coal Mine located in Panxian county of Liupanshui city, Xinhua news agency quoted the Guizhou Provincial Coal Mine Safety Bureau as saying.
Firemen rushed to the scene to attempt to rescue the men but have not been successful.
