This group of photos were taken on the first day of 2007. The photographer went along some people from a Panzhihua web site staff to a local rural school with the donation of books and other items. What he saw there made his heart touched and shocked.

Only rice for lunch is just the normal life of the rural children. Most of the students even cannot afford a serving of dish each, which only costs 3-5 jiao (4 cents to 8 cents).
