Tibet Supporters Protest on Everest and in India

Two reports about protests from the pro-Tibet camp. In Dharamsala, exiled Tibetans staged a protest against the continued disappearance of Gendun Choekyi Nyima, who was recognized by the Dalai Lama as the Panchen Lama 12 years ago but has not been seen in public since.

Also today, a group of Americans were arrested at the Mount Everest base camp when they unfurled a banner calling for Tibetan independence and protesting the Beijing Olympics. A video of the Everest protest is on Youtube:
