Tibetans Protest Against Chinese Delegation’s Visit – China National News

Tibetans living as refugees in Ooty have decided to down the shutters of their shops on Sunday, in protest against the visit of a Chinese delegation to hold discussions on border issue.

Tibetan refugees have set up nearly seventy shops on Garden Road, near the Botanical Gardens here.

According to the President of the Tibetan Refugees Welfare Association, Pal Jor, the Tibetans had earlier decided to hold a black flag demonstration against the visit of Chinese delegation. But, the police did not give permission to them for this.[Full Text]
