China Denies Requiring WB to Delete Environmental Data from Report - Xinhua

From People’s Daily Online:

China on Thursday denied that it had requested the World Bank (WB) to delete data concerned with China from a environmental report.

“China’s related departments have carried out some cooperative programs with the World Bank in environmental protection. The report has not drawn conclusion yet and has not been released,” said Foreign Ministry spokesman Qin Gang. [Full Text]
