Siemens Acknowledges ‘Inappropriate Business’ In China As Part Of Wider Corruption Probe – AP

An internal probe has revealed improper behavior in Siemens AG ‘s business dealings in China, the company said Thursday.

The review was part of a wider investigation of at the German conglomerate. Investigators in Italy, Germany and the United States are also looking into and corruption allegations against the company. spokesman Andreas Schwab confirmed earlier comments by the company’s head for China, Richard Hausmann, that instances of “inappropriate business” in China were revealed in the internal probe.
