Foshan city and Guangzhou city in Guangdong province started to move their cement factories out of the urban area this year for pollution reasons. The following photos by Southern Daily show the process of relocating the four major cement factories, Tian Li/Ê∑ªÂäõ, Jian Guo/ª∫ÂõΩ, Bei Jiang/Âåóʱü, and Tian Qing/Ê∑ªÂ∫Ü in Foshan. Yangcheng Evening News also reported that Guangzhou spent one billion yuan (USD125 million) for their cement factories’ relocation.
