Dance: She without Arm, He without Leg

Few of China’s social problems have received more attention than the trend away from community and towards cold self-preservation. In “Hand in Hand,” disabled dancers Ma Li and Zhai Xiaowei place this problem in stark relief, literally embodying to the theme of helping others, in a moving dance set to music from famous Chinese composer San Bao.
