Beijing Universities to Close Early for Games

Reuters’ Lucy Hornby reports from Beijing, via the Guardian:

College graduates will be asked to leave their Beijing campuses a month earlier than usual this summer, to make way for the Olympic Games, which start on Aug. 8, the official Xinhua news agency said on Sunday.

Chinese college students usually head home in late June or July.
