  • Cannot see anything wrong with government’s effort of using force to suppressing violence. No sympathy to the Tibetans who committed violent crime again other members of wider community.

  • In response to your post.
These are not “riots” happening in Tibet. This is rebellion against the chinese occupier and invader. Would you qualify the chinese resistance agains japanese during WW2 as “riots” and crimninal behavior???
China invaded Tibet nearly 60 years ago with an army.fact. Tibet was sovereign. Mao told he wanted to “liberate” tibet. WE, TIBETANS, NEVER ASKED CHINA TO COME AND “HELP” us. Hundreds of thousands of tibetans have been killed since then by china. You have installed a reign of torture on us. Some people have been jailed for 25 years for saying they wanted their country free. What do you say about all of that?? Is it not normal to rebel against the occupier after decades of suffering? We are probably the people who showed most patience and abnegation of all occupied people.
Oh, and don t bullshit us with Tibet a part of china since all times. Tibet has a different people, different language, different culture, different history. Tibet was united by king song tsen Gampo in the 7th century and tibetans fought war against the TANG dynasty. Then like Han chinese(your ancestors if you are han), we had to obey the rules of the mongols.
China being much bigger in population, but mostly because of our conversion to boudhism and thus no army, China has exerced a domination without invasion over Tibet. It is the same as when mongols did that on Han chinese. Does that mean that all of china is to be ruled by Mongols?? stupid rhetorics.
You don t know about democracy unfortunately, completely brainwashed by decades of totalitarist propaganda. Han chinese in Taiwan understand that. they fear your ruthless regime, we are victims of it.
Last, the argument that Tibet was feodal before chinese invasion: most countries had big issues in the 1930s everywhere in the world. Beginning with…China. The Dalai lama always said that a fre tibet would be a democracy so he would retire from politics. He does only that to help his country showing a unified popular face to the world until we are free and liberated from China.

  • 1. What kind of Democracy did Tibet has before China took control?

    2. China was ruled by Manchu and later overthrown. My view is if you are good then you can come and lead; when you turn bad, then you are gone.

    3. Look at history and other places in the world; take US for example: it was an Indian country! It was then occupied and conquered by the Europeans. It is totally reasonable for China to take over Tibet and it’s also totally fair for Tibetan to take it back. The question is “Are you capable of taking it back”? So stop crying and start building your Army. Let us know when you are ready and China will remain part of China.

  • Very good points Dorjee la.
