Our physical looks didn’t help either ( we can’t help it), and nor do the presence of some obnoxious gangsters among the immigrant Chinese to the West( whom you encourage with your fixation with ‘democracy’).But that does not nullify the fact that the majority of Chinese are just decent and law-abiding folks, even though we may not be handsome ( but how you salivate for our girls!! Don’t their slit eyes put your ardour off?)

Since your first encounter with us a few hundred years back,your attitude to us has been one of contempt and the itch to show us something of your superiority vis-a-vis our self-sufficiency .You regarded us as mere sub-humans fit only to be force-fed your opium as we annoyingly produce better china, mirrors and trinkets than those that you hawk around condescendingly in the South Sea Islands.

Look at the Chinese Exclusion Acts and other discriminatory legislation passed by USA and Canada regarding Chinese immigrants.And how you call us ‘Chinks, Ching Chongs, Fu Manchu, Charlie’ as we walk down the streets of London, Glasgow, European US and Australian cities.

Of course, how can they not be a threat?
