Quake Panda Gives Birth to Twins in China

From AFP:

A giant panda evacuated after China’s devastating earthquake in May gave birth to twins on Sunday, state media reported.

Guo Guo, who was relocated from the Wolong Panda Breeding Centre following the earthquake in southwest Sichuan province, gave birth at a panda base in the nearby city of Ya’an, Xinhua news agency reported.

The panda births were the first of the year, and come in the wake of the quake, which left nearly 88,000 people dead or missing and up to five million homeless.
