but changed on the insistence of US If the reason is to protect young child body It doesn’t prevent children younger than 14 to train as future Gymnast ? Go to any Gymnast boot camp and you will see children sometime as young as 10 train as gymnast. So wher is the protection here?

If the only thing that makes you strong is the gold medal table then you are pretty pathetic. Only weak countries need to tally gold medals to vindicate their supposed strength. Most people here just need to get on with their lives – they have no time for the Olympics, maybe they can see something on TV if they are lucky, after work. They have not been to see the events, no time, nor could they care. If they did it was to try and get some tickets cheap to resell them rather less cheap.
