Tenor may have made the mistake of speaking for all Indians but if it's his opinion that the Red Indian moniker sounds offensive (considering its close sounding relative "redskin") then it's understandable why he or she felt the need to express that view. Secondly, there ARE Indians who sympathize with Tibetans since they're undergoing a situation not unlike what most Indians have gone through. I'd like to add that I've received some pretty insulting insights from my share of ultra nationalistic Chinese or Chinese descendants who tend to view Indians as though we're their children and owe a great deal to them. Whether it's the oh-so-convenient Chinese crossing the Bering Strait (even though there were no such nations back then) or the Zheng He craze, they've made it their point to come across as though we are their possessions. That's pretty offensive right there. Personally, I side with the Tibetans and I'm Quechuan/K'iche to boot.

The Pastor’s got a few problems, man. B.Singhdee,I am a Catholic from Singapore. Good to preach the Gospel, but please do it at the right place and forum.Lee Kuan Yew and God Chok Tong and Lee Hsien Loong are NOT Christians. They are all leaders with very high moral standards! Do not despise people who are not Christians, or are atheist and agnostic. Somehow, God lives. Most Chinese people have "Heaven-God"(tian, laotianye) deep in their psyche even if they are not conscious of it; even if they do not have any theology of it; even if they don't pray as much as you or read scripures like you.

Pastor???
