CDT Launches a New Feature: From the Chinese Blogosphere

With the explosion of online content written in Chinese, and despite pervasive government censorship, an increasing number of Chinese netizens are expressing themselves on a variety of political and social issues. In order to introduce this phenomenon to CDT readers, we have launched a new feature called “From the Chinese Blogosphere.” CDT editors will post their recommendations of links from the Chinese Internet at the bottom of each CDT post. The list will include blog posts, news, opinions, commentary, cartoons, photos, video, and a broad range of the most interesting and dynamic content currently available in Chinese cyberspace.

From the Chinese Blogosphere will be posted as an RSS feed and will be frequently updated. CDT will not be able to translate all of these links. However, if any CDT readers have translated or are willing to translate (or summarize) any of these posts, please feel free to send it to cdt@chinadigitaltimes.net and we will publish it and credit the translator, if desired. You are also welcome to send us any interesting Chinese links for possible inclusion in this list.
