Thousands Evacuated After Quakes Hit SW China

Two earthquakes struck Yunan on Friday; a 4.9 magnitude quake at Ruili, on the Myanmar-China border, and a 4.3 magnitude quake near Kunming. Nine peope were injured, a government building collapsed in Ruili, over a hundred houses were damaged in Kunming, and approximately 30,000 people had to be evacuated from the area. Relief workers and supplies have been sent.
