Unfortunately since 1949 China has been ruled by Red Bandits who violently overthrew the govt of China, invaded Tibet & rule both China & Tibet through violence, fear & intimidation. Both Chinese & Tibetan peoples will only be free when the Red Bandits are gone. The Dalai Lama has always placed tremendous faith & hope in the Chinese people to help us Tibetans.
