Instead it will fan the flames of Tibetan nationalism. Tibetans will view these executions of examples of Chinese injustices and that they can expect no fair treatment or justice as long as Chinese colonial rule exists in Tibet.Moreover, these executions failed to comply w/ Chinese law & Constitution. The accused were not permitted legal represenation of their choice and their trials were conducted in secret, indicating the authorities lacked the evidence to convict them in open court. Their death sentences were also supposed to be reviewed by the Supreme Peoples Court but there's no evidence this appeal was allowed.The trials, sentences & executions of these Tibetans lacked basic due process of law, thus they were illegal, unconstitutional and unjust.
