Here is a way to tell if a country’s involvement with other country’s human rights is legitimate:

If the human rights violation is gross, then it is legitimate.

Otherwise, it is more like the involvement is trying interfere other country’s internal affairs with ulterior reasons.

SO what if Obama was undermining the party’s rule? To me, that sounds brilliant. Undermining the party’s rule means human rights and liberties which the party is opposite of. If Chinese people truly loved living in torture cages, I wouldn’t say anything, but since I know the voices of the persecuted are forbidden to be heard, I am happy if Obama is speaking to CHINA instead of just sucking up to the PARTY which claims to BE China, but of course it is not such thing!

The communist party is smart enough to tell behind Obama’s smile, he was really trying to undermine the party’s rule. So, they censored him. Next time, he visit China, he will learn to mind his own business instead of trying to take some cheap shots. Other countries are never arrogant enough to come to the US and criticize the US’ problem. Be aware of the US’ intention is a wise thing to do.

This action on the part of the Chinese government is certainly worth some serious examination. Why is it that the CCP (or at least some of its factions/ministries/actors) are still so paranoid about this sort of thing? This could have been used as positive force in the development of China’s civic society but it was not: a demonstration of how people and leaders can interact and debate in a TRULY HARMONIOUS way…
