    At least the CCP regime’s police has tended in recent years to fire tear gas at protestors instead of flesh-tearing dum-dum bullets that the PLA used to kill and maim hundreds of protesters in Beijing in 1989.
    These confrontations would not be necessary if the Party weren’t so opposed to letting citizens elect their leaders in free and fair elections instead of the farcical People’s Congress make-believe elections that are held as a kind of show every few years.
