Sure, violence and bloodbath are the only accepted ways to achieve democracy, per the thinking of AP and CDT.
What on Earth are you talking about?
Charter 2008 certainly did not call for anything like “violence and bloodbath.” Far from it–if China had not been under one-party authoritarian rule and without a legal system in 1966, could the violence of the Cultural Revolution broken out and spread so widely throughout the country?
Both the recent petition led by Zhang Qianfan and Charter 2008 a few years back deserve affirmation. That does not mean a thoughtful person cannot prefer one or the other approach or cannot opine that one or the other approach could be improved.
