Of course, Chan and the Chinese Communist Party would like to see such a world in which no domestic criticism of the government is ever made and the populace assents to every command of the party/state, but fortunately such a place does not exist except in their dumbed-down imagination. Even in North Korea there is criticism of the regime, but it is suppressed in public forums and usually made behind closed doors or whispered.

Being impartial as much as a journalist should be I think this perception that USA is considered the most corrupt country is based on this obvious fact that American society is the most advertised society in the world. Each and every incident is known worldwide so quickly because of internet. Otherwise human nature is the same every where.
