The media have already been silenced on the Xinjiang incident!
Internal Security Work Units:
At 5:50 [a.m.] on June 26, simultaneous violent terrorist attacks occurred at six locations in a village in Shanshan County, Turpan, including a police station, a community [government] office, and civilian workers’ quarters. Armed with knives and gasoline, the mob slashed and set fire to police officers, auxiliary police, community [government] personnel, and migrant workers. Over ten police officers and others were killed. Currently, over 20 thugs have been shot dead at the scene, three have been arrested (all are injured), and the rest are at large.
According to the Politics and Law Commission of the Autonomous Region, all of Xinjiang has begun a first-level response. The municipal oil field Party committee emergency office asks all key work units in Karamay to step up security measures, perform open-bag security checks on visitors to the work unit, take preventative steps, and make the necessary preparations to respond to sudden incidents.
All work units are asked to fulfill security work. In case of emergency, immediately dial 110.
