Badiucao (巴丢草): China’s House of Cards

To welcome the opening of the CPPCC and the National People’s Congress annual sessions, Badiucao has re-imagined the popular Netflix series House of Cards with a Chinese cast. “Lianghui” refers to the “two sessions,” or annual legislative meetings in Beijing, which open today. China plays a prominent role in the second season of House of Cards, in which Washington is portrayed as a den of corruption and iniquity.
