War Trash wins PEN/Faulkner award
War Trash, by novelist Ha Jin, has won the PEN/Faulkner award. Here is an AP story on the award. The New York Times called War Trash one of the ten best books of 2004, and published an interview with Ha Jin. He also won the PEN/Faulkner in 2000 for his novel Waiting.
