This American Life Retracts Episode on Foxconn Abuses

Mike Daisey’s one-man show, ‘The Agony and The Ecstasy of Steve Jobs‘, brought widespread attention to labour practices at the Foxconn plants in China where many Apple products are assembled (and which produce, together with Foxconn’s other factories in Eastern Europe, Mexico and Brazil, 40% of all consumer electronics). In January, its reach was hugely extended by an episod
