This talk was given at a local TEDx event, produced independently of the TED Conferences. Twenty-five years ago Chinese citizens stood up for their freedoms, but they were up against tanks and guns. When he saw the first pictures from Tiananmen Square this man immediately took a flight back to Beijing to help, interrupting his studies in the US. Since then he has worked as a full time human right activist and an expert in online media fighting government censorship and control of information.
