咆哮体 (páoxiāo tǐ): shouting font

“Shouting font is super cool!!!! Isn’t it!!!!?? Isn’t it!!!!???”
A civil servant shouts about his tough life. “I don’t even have time to play [video] games!”

Emphatic comments left on message boards and other online forums. Shouting font is not actually a typeface, but refers to text riddled with question marks and exclamation points.

Shouting font comes alive in this 2011 video review of the Two Sessions, the annual meetings of the National People’s Congress and the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference.
