British American Tobacco agrees deal to make cigarettes in China

This news is from telegraph.co.uk: “British American Tobacco has won approval to become the first foreign company to manufacture cigarettes in China since the communist revolution.

The group, whose brands include Dunhill, Lucky Strike and Pall Mall, has been given permission to build a factory capable of producing 100 billion cigarettes a year, compared with a total market of around 1,800 billion. ”
