Elizabeth Becker: Chamber of Commerce Asks U.S. to Crack Down on Chinese Copyright Violations

From the New York Times:

Although this practice saves the individual shopper some money, the U.S. Chamber of Commerce claims that it costs the American industry over $200 billion a year. The Chamber of Commerce has asked the administration to take legal action against China through the World Trade Organization. For some time, China has been confronted with issues of copyright violations to workers’ rights, but has failed to make a big effort to regulate and conform to international trade laws.
