Chua Chin Hon: China media keep up Koizumi bashing

From The Straits Times, via Asia Media:

Chinese state media kept up the criticism of Japanese Prime Minister Junichiro Koizumi yesterday with editorials attacking his comments on a controversial war shrine.

The People’s Daily, the main Communist Party newspaper, labelled Mr Koizumi’s reasons for visiting the Yasukuni shrine, which honours 14 Class A war criminals among 2.5 million of Japan’s war dead, as “ridiculous”.
