Korean-Chinese warned not to help refugees from North – Benjamin Kang Lim

From Reuters, via New Kerala:

A mugshot of a North Korean soldier arrested after slipping into China and pictures of murdered Korean-Chinese farmers are hard to miss in Chinese villages along the long border between the two countries.

The photographs are displayed on giant noticeboards outside police stations in many border villages in northeastern Jilin province, warning Chinese of ethnic Korean descent that North Korean rogue soldiers as well as refugees fleeing famine are to blame for the killings.
