Economists cast doubts on China’s GDP data Ôºç Richard McGregor

China’s gross domestic product growth figures, released late last week, have revived longstanding scepticism about Chinese official and their accuracy as a gauge of activity in the world’s fastest growing economy.

The figures recorded growth from July to September at 9.4 per cent, almost exactly on par with the first two quarters, which came in at 9.4 and 9.5 per cent respectively.
