The Chinese Nationalist Party (KMT) caucus yesterday blocked a legislative resolution that would have asked the UN and international human-rights groups to investigate China’s persecution of Falun Gong practitioners.
Legislative caucuses yesterday presented a draft resolution that would have issued official letters requesting human-rights organizations investigate China’s alleged persecution of Falun Gong practitioners. But the KMT caucus opposed the resolution, demanding that it be submitted for preliminary review.
