It is further learned that Li Baojin, Tianjin‘s chief of procuratorate, was seized during last weekend, and rumor has it that his downfall has something to do with Ms. Wang Xiaomao, manager of Haotian Real Estate Development Company.
Ms. Wang, 30, was arrested about two months ago because of “economic problems.” She is said to have an affair with Li for years and has received help from Li in her business deals. Another version of rumor says that Li has a tough relationship with a party secretary in charge of politics and law of Tianjin, which people say is also a reason why Li didn’t get any “promotion” since resuming his office at the procuratorate.
