Trouble-prone Chinese City Suffers Ammonia Leak

From Reuters:

Dozens of people were poisoned by an ammonia leak in a Chinese city that has already been hit by a spate of problems over the last 10 days, including a mass poisoning due to polluted water and a mayoral corruption scandal, state media reported on Wednesday.

The ammonia leak at Chifeng Pharmaceutical Group occurred on Wednesday morning, as workers tried to transfer it from a truck to a plant run by Chifeng Pharmaceutical Group.

The count of those sickened ranges from 30 to 141 in Chinese media reports.
