At the slightest shock, you step. Just a doubt and you assume the worst. You are worried about nothing… Maybe you are anxious temperament. What are the symptoms and is there a way to fix the anxiety problem?

Four to six percent of the population suffers from anxiety disorders, women in a greater proportion than men. Anxiety affects two out of three people in US. This discomfort during a threatening situation, this feeling of insecurity about potential danger, is a normal reaction to stress. However, when anxiety becomes excessive and taints daily life, when you constantly fear disasters even if it is an innocuous event, this apprehension of things becomes a sick behavior and requires treatment.

To detect if you have the profile of an anxious person, here are the main signs: psychological, physical, emotional and behavioral trait of personality. There is also an article about anxiety diagnosis. Let’s assess the scope!

Brainstorming about anxiety

The anxious person has the spirit like a maelstrom. Always restless, questioning, analyzing, dissecting every move, she imagines the worst. In her eyes a cold announces a serious infection. Projects into the future and anticipating the worst eventuality is widespread. Every detail is reviewed and captivates her attention. And questions burst forth in her: “Will I be late for appointments?” “What will they think of me?”…

The thought machine of the anxious person gets carried away easily. That is why she is always on the lookout for possible danger and startles easily. Concerned about everything and nothing at once, she forgets to focus on the essentials. This results in waste of time and inefficiency. Curiously, she feels that she is the unlucky. When bad news is announced, she thinks at once that this could happen to her. This sense of amplification suggests that the worst is expected. That is why she tries to control everything. She should certainly not be trap by bad luck!

Pain of the anxiety

Such a ball of tension, the whole body of the anxious person seems tied. She feels sometimes pain when no symptoms indicate the presence of a disease. She may feel, for example, palpitations and hot flushes. Insomnia often follows the long hours when she ponders her day in bed. Her nights are restless and hammered bursts which eventually completely disrupt her sleep. Would follow a chronic fatigue and nervous exhaustion which ultimately encourage to go see a doctor.

Emotions on edge

Emotions, too, collide. Anything provokes anger, guilt or shame, and self-esteem suffers. The anxious person feels like a ball of emotions. Tensions, if they are not evacuated, can interfere with her and eventually turn into an explosive cocktail of anger.
