路透北京9月21日电—中国政府和官方媒体表示，强降雨引发的洪水和泥石流已在中国八个省份造成至少70人死亡，32人失踪。
民政部周二晚间在其网站(www.mca.gov.cn)上称，本月早些时候开始的这场降雨已造成260亿元(41亿美元)的经济损失。
将近100万民众被疏散转移。
陜西省和四川省的洪涝灾害最为严重。官方电台报导称，全国有近40条河流存在决堤风险。（完）
