Rape cases in India
Southern Democratic Alliance is a NGO based in Hong Kong. We pay attentions to the human rights situations in Asia and all around the world. We are shocked when we hear about the rape cases in your country.
In 13 November 2012, an 17 years old Indian girl has been raped in Punjab. She reported the case to the police. The police asked her to marry the man who has raped her. In our opinion, it is crazy. Finally, she has killed herself on 26 December 2012.
In November 2012, an 16 years old Indian girl has been raped in Uttar Pradesh. She reported the case to the police. On 14 December 2012, she has been raped b the policeman who was in-charge her case. In our opinion, it is crazy.
In 16 December 2012, an Indian girl has been raped in a bus by 6 men in New Delhi. She was seriously hurted. Until now, she is still in a hospital in Singapore.
Accordingly to your country’s report, there were 572 rape cases in New Delhi in 2011. There has been over 600 cases in New Delhi in 2012.
Please try your very best to stop viloence against girls and ladies in your country.
