清朝（1636年或1644年－1912年2月12日），正式國号為大清（满语：ᡩᠠᡳ᠌ᠴᡳᠩᡤᡠᡵᡠᠨ ，穆麟德轉寫：daicing gurun），對外使用中國（满语：ᡩ᠋ᡠ᠋ᠯᡳᠮᠪᠠᡳᡤᡠᡵᡠᠨ，转写：dulimbai gurun）、中華大清国、大清国、大清帝國等名稱，又称满清、皇清，是中国历史上由滿族建立的大一統朝代，亦為中國歷史上最後一個帝制王朝，皇族为起源於明代建州女真的爱新觉罗氏。清朝共經歷10位或11位皇帝，另有4位建州女真領袖及1位後金君主被追贈為大清皇帝。 满人源自女真，皇族愛新覺羅氏為建州女真一部，隸屬明朝建州卫管轄之部眾，而建州卫是明朝在今中國遼寧省東北部和吉林省東南部一帶设立的一个羁縻卫所，曾隶属于奴儿干都司的管辖，爱新觉罗氏則世代為明朝建州左衛之都指揮使。1616年，女真族人努尔哈赤在今中国东北地区建国称汗，建立大金（史稱後金），定都赫图阿拉，又稱兴京（今辽宁新宾）。(维基百科：清朝)
