黑板狐 (hēi bǎn hú): the blackboard fox
This is a reference to Hu Jintao. The word “fox” in Chinese is hu which sounds like Hu Jintao’s surname. He earned this nickname when he visited earthquake victims in Yushu in 2008. Hu Jintao entered a classroom and wrote on the board, “There will be new schools! There will be new homes!” (“新校园，会有的！新家园，会有的！”) He then led the students in a recitation of those lines. The blackboard is being preserved by the Qinghai archives.
