殃视 (yāng shì): calamity TV

Sounds the same in Chinese as “Central Television,” as in China Central Television (CCTV), China's state-run media empire. Netizens use the term “calamity TV” when criticizing what they perceive as CCTV's pro-government bias and reckless spending (for example, see here (Chinese).
