GFW: Great Firewall of China
The "Great Firewall of China", is a censorship and surveillance project operated by the Ministry of Public Security (MPS) division of the government of China. Those who circumvent the wall to access information are said to "scale the wall." For more information, see here (English) and here (Chinese).
Fang Binxing is credited with being the father of the GFW.
