Applied Materials set up its latest solar research labs here after estimating that China would be producing two-thirds of the world\u2019s solar panels by the end of this year.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe\u2019re obviously not giving up on the U.S.,\u201d Mr. Pinto said. \u201cChina needs more electricity.
