The World Expo 2010<\/a>, currently underway in Shanghai, has been disappointing for many visitors who are often unable to visit the most popular pavilions due to excessive crowds and long lines. Global Times reports<\/a>:<\/p>\n \nChinese travel agencies have taken nearly 30,000 daily tourists to the World Expo 2010 in Shanghai over the past three days, but many of their customers have left the park grounds disappointed, without a tour to their pavilion of choice.<\/p>\n Travel agencies said that they were only notified when booking their groups the day before entering the World Expo that they would not be permitted to make reservations at many of the most popular pavilions.<\/p>\n “We were told months ago by the Expo Bureau that we could book group tours to any of the pavilions so this news has caused us a great deal of problems,” Zhang Jianquan, deputy manager of Shanghai Travel Agency, told the Global Times on Monday.<\/p>\n Zhang said his company plans on filing a complaint with the bureau. <\/p><\/blockquote>\n ESWN posted<\/a> images created by Hong Kong Internet users spoofing the crowds at the Expo: The World Expo 2010, currently underway in Shanghai, has been disappointing for many visitors who are often unable to visit the most popular pavilions due to excessive crowds and long lines.
