From the <a href=\"http:\/\/online.wsj.com\/article\/SB10001424052748704911704575326161043725420.html?ru=MKTW&#038;mod=MKTW\">Wall Street Journal<\/a>:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Toyota Motor Corp. said its vehicle-production plant in southern China will remain idled through the weekend over a strike at a parts supplier, but operations on the factory&#8217;s two assembly lines are expected to resume as early as Monday.<\/p>\n<p>The parts factory that caused the Japanese auto maker to suspend production Tuesday near Guangzhou is &#8220;almost resolved,&#8221; said Toyota spokesman Hitoshi Yokoyama, and the supplier has restarted production, albeit on a limited basis. The resumption should allow Toyota to restart production &#8220;as early as Monday morning,&#8221; he said. The plant normally doesn&#8217;t operate on weekends.<\/p>\n<p>The labor unrest at Toyota&#8217;s supplier\u2014Denso (Guangzhou Nansha) Co., which is wholly owned by Japan&#8217;s Denso Corp.\u2014added to a wave of labor disputes for wage increases, among other demands, across China in recent months. <\/p><\/blockquote>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>While their labor disputes are reportedly &#8220;almost resolved,&#8221; assembly lines at a Toyota Motor Corp. factory in southern China will remain idle till at least Monday.
