墙奸 (qiángjiān): wall-rape

This word sounds the same as the Mandarin pronunciation of the word “rape” (强奸 qiángjiān). However, the characters are different: the first character, 强 (qiáng, meaning “by force”) is replaced by the character 墙 (qiáng, meaning “wall”). Thus, the new term means that one has been screwed by the [[Great Firewall of China]]. A humorous take on this is highlighted by this fictional error message found here:
