香港47人案，是指2021年1月6日，香港警务处国家安全处以涉嫌违反《香港国家安全法》“颠覆国家政权罪”为由对2020年立法会选举民主派初选参与者发动的大规模拘捕行动。警方共拘捕53人，当中47人其后被起诉（其中2人后被裁定罪名不成立，获当庭释放），多人不获准保释。这次拘捕是自2020年7月1日港区国安法生效以来，警方发动最大规模拘捕行动，引发香港本地媒体及国际媒体关注。（维基百科）2024年11月19日，香港法院对包括前立法会议员和民运人士在内的45人作出判决，香港大学法律学院前副教授戴耀廷刑期最重，被判处10年有期徒刑。该案是根据《港版国安法》进行起诉的最大规模案件，几乎将香港民主派精英一网打尽，于是也被称作“港版美丽岛事件”。

背景
2020年7月，香港民主派为了立法会改选，提前发起提名初选，旨在协调民主派候选人，争取在立法会选举中取得超过半数席位，以便在议会中有效行使否决权，推动政府民主改革。
当时有超过61 万香港公民破纪录地参与了这场民间投票。
2021年2月28日，香港律政司以「串谋颠覆国家政权罪」，起诉了参与立法会民主派初选的47人，认为其目的是瘫痪政府运作，颠覆政权。这是迄今为止香港最大规模的国安案件，引发国际社会对香港政治自由和司法独立的关注。
2024年11月19日，在多数被告已经被拘押超过3年8个月之后，此案最终宣判。除2人暂时脱罪外，45人被判刑4至10年不等。其中，戴耀廷被认定为「首要分子」，判刑10年。
何桂蓝曾是《立场新闻》记者，BBC中文网记者，在全程报导2019 香港社会运动之后，她放下记者证，选择以行动者身份参政，参与民主派初选。参选时，她29岁。
漫长的审判过程中，她也是在47人中，唯一选择既不认罪、也不求情的被告。她被判刑7年。判刑当日，她以英文及粤语，分享自己的心路历程，指出自己不认罪、不求情，是为了捍卫61万香港人曾作出的政治表态，也一再指出，「真正定义我们身份的，不是苦难本身，而是我们面对苦难的方式。」
